We process personal data when you:

  • register for maternity care

  • contact us

  • use our services

The following personal data may be processed, among others:

  • name, address and place of residence

  • telephone number and email address

  • date of birth

  • information relating to pregnancy and childbirth

  • medical data insofar as necessary for providing care

  • insurance details

We process this data on the basis of:

  • performance of the care agreement

  • legal obligations

  • legitimate interest

  • your consent (where applicable)

Personal data is used exclusively for:

  • providing maternity care

  • administrative and financial processing

  • compliance with legal obligations

  • internal quality monitoring and evaluation

3. Security of Personal Data

Kraamzorg Moederkracht takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, or any form of unlawful processing.

Access to personal data is limited to employees and care providers who need this data to perform their work. They are bound by a statutory duty of confidentiality.

Care services are provided exclusively within the Netherlands.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

  • this is necessary in the context of the Dutch Reporting Code for Domestic Violence and Child Abuse (Meldcode Huiselijk Geweld en Kindermishandeling)

  • this is necessary for transferring care to other involved healthcare providers (for example a midwife or youth healthcare services)

In such cases, only the strictly necessary data is shared.

5. Retention Period

Kraamzorg Moederkracht (note: your text says Kraamzorg Moederliefde) does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a statutory retention obligation applies.

Under the WGBO, medical records are subject to a statutory retention period. After this period has expired, the data will be carefully destroyed.
